Animator. Designer. Dayna Gonzalez brings design to life. Dayna Gonzalez is an award-winning animator with over a decade of experience as a Lead Character Animator for a variety of broadcast, film, and web productions. Her work has appeared in Nick Jr.’s Blue’s Clues and The Wonder Pets, Noggin’s Pinky Dinky Doo, and in numerous pilots, commercials, and webisodes. Her move into the motion comic arena included promotional work for The Dark Knight - Episode 3, The Shadow of Ra’s Al Ghul. She sits on the executive board of the NYC chapter of ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d' Animation) and edits their blog, The Exposure Sheet. Dayna holds a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a major in film/animation, and a minor in Sociology. In 2008, she completed a Certificate Program in Web Design at SUNY/FIT in the interest of exploring animation and interactive web design. Dayna’s passion for art has been with her since childhood, and she enjoys seeking new forms of expression for her creative abilities.

Side projects include blogging and collaboration with friends on various projects, and editing videos of events for friends and family. Dayna is classically trained in the fine arts and has expertise in character, background, and storyboard design. She contracts out her compositing skills as an After Effects Artist, and also serves as an animation consultant to various projects. She writes an animation industry blog as a Pavaline Filmmaker’s Network Advisor. In her spare time, she enjoys salsa dancing, exploring new haunts in NYC, and tending to her small army of plants. Dayna resides in Astoria, NY.
